Portrait of an LBX will in short order be transforming from a weekend endeavor to a full-blown occupation. Starting in late August, Evan and I will be setting out by bike for a year-plus, 7,000-mile-long journey through China’s hinterland and some of the country’s most remote geographic, cultural and historic locations. While we have been saving up for this trip for months and will be attempting to spend as little as possible while we are doing it, bike and camera equipment does not come cheap, to say the least. With that said, if anyone is still feeling generous in this economy and would like to help sponsor a greater understanding of China and its people, we’ve set up a secure PayPal account for that purpose. Every little bit helps, and we certainly appreciate it.
With sincerest thanks,
Andy Keller and Evan Villarrubia
